October 2023 - Annual Salute and Fundraising Event
SCMFO is celebrating its 21st year since the founders had a glimpse of what needed to be done for Military Families at Camp Pendleton back in 2002. This year, perhaps more than ever, the economic landscape is impacting both SCMFO and it's Clients - the Marines and Sailors at Camp Pendleton...and so, what is needed in 2023 is more of everything! So please join us in celebrating these heroes and raising the funds needed to support their urgent needs.
For 2023 SCMFO will launch its 4th annual On-line Auction with exciting items for the placed on the bidding website for a week during October. If you are interested in donating an item for the auction please email Judy at JAFranz47@gmail.com. Items that garnish the a lot of interest include: retail and restaurant gift certificates, spa treatments, sporting goods, event tickets, wonderful get-a-ways and gift baskets of food, adult beverages and snacks!
Additionally, SCMFO will have the annual in-person Salute to Military Heroes event – this year a luncheon to be held on base at Camp Pendleton. The event will be held at the Pacific View Event Center – South Gate - and members of the community and our supporters are invited to join us!!
